Octa is a material commonly used for mid-layers and outerwear for its functionality, but it is also an excellent material for a base layer. The item has high breathability that prevents overheating when worn alone, yet its hollow threads trap warm air and switch to thermal mode when worn underneath a jacket. It is also extremely quick drying. And Goldwin's proprietary water repellent treatment on the Octa surface keeps the skin dry and free of sweat.
